Vladimir Putin has raged at the West about the Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin's plane crash.
The Russian president fumed at the "complete lie" linking Kremlin officials to the cause of the crash, which killed 10 people including Wagner head Prigozhin.
A spokesperson for the Russian leader said "speculations" over the flight crash and potential link between Putin and the death of Prigozhin were a "complete lie".

Putin's putdown of the West comes as experts speculate the death of Prigozhin was caused by Kremlin insiders unhappy with the Wagner group leader for his attempted coup back in June.
Prigozhin, formerly known as "Putin's chef", was killed in the crash on Wednesday, August 23, some weeks after Putin vowed to punish the "traitors" of June's failed uprising.
As well as Prigozhin, alleged Wagner group founder Dmitry Utkin and close Prigozhin ally Valery Chekalov, believed to be in charge of Wagner group movements in Africa, were on board the fatal flight.
Mad Vlad had broken his silence on the crash just yesterday, with the Daily Star reporting his condolences sent out to the family of Prigozhin.
In a televised speech made by the Russian leader, he confirmed investigators will look into what had happened and that he had known Prigozhin "for a long time".

Putin continued: "This was a person with a complicated fate, and he made serious mistakes in life, but also sought to achieve the necessary results – both for himself and at time when I asked him to, for the common cause, such as in these recent months.
"Initial data suggests employees of the Wagner company were on board."
Previous public appearances from Putin following the crash had seen the warmonger tight-lipped on the outcome and impact of the crash.
Following the failed coup led by Prigozhin in June, Putin warned: "Anyone who consciously goes along the path of betrayal, who is prepared for armed mutiny, and takes the course of blackmail and terrorist actions, will receive an inevitable punishment."
