American WWE wrestler Charlotte Flair went head to head with Ronda Rousey on the first night of WWE WrestleMania 38 when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in the ring.

The "nip slip" happened as Flair lay down in the ring of the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night (April 2).

One fan took to Twitter, capturing the shock of what is a repeated slip from the 35-year-old wrestler.

They wrote: "Charlotte Flair has a Nip Slip again #WrestleMania ".

The broadcast of the wrestling match is thought to have blacked out momentarily to conceal Flair's wardrobe malfunction.

One fan commented: "No wonder my screen went black."

Another said: "They made it so obvious that she had a slip lmao, I didn’t even 100% comprehend that she had a slip till that blacked my screen out."

Flair, also known as Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, won the penultimate match against Rousey, retaining her SmackDown Women's champion title.

After making her wrestling debut in 2012, Flair has gone on to secure her title in SmackDown. In the fight with Rousey, Flair came to accidentally spear Charles Robinson, the referee. This made him incapacitated when Flair gave frantic taps of submission to Rousey, making it redundant.

When Rousey tried to revive the referee, she was left open to a boot and pinfall from Flair which the referee woke up in time for to count Rousey's submission.

By winning, Flair also put an end to Rousey's previously undefeated streak in singles competition since her WWE debut in April 2018. Rousey had only ever lost twice.

Ronda Rousey had made her return to the ring in January this year following a three-year hiatus. She had won the women's Royal Rumble match and secured her spot at WrestleMania.

Yesterday's match was the end result to the feud between Rousey and Flair.
