More than 40,000 people have now died from coronavirus in the UK.
The government made an announcement on September 8, changing the guidelines around social interaction in a bid to limit the spread of the virus.
Previously, guidance in England allowed gatherings of up to six people from different households outdoors, or two households of any size, indoors or outdoors, to meet.
But Health Secretary Matt Hancock informed that one of the main pieces of feedback they had received was that the rules needed to be super simple.
He continued: "And now this will be rigorously enforced by the police."
The new lockdown rules come into force on Monday, September 14.
What are the new lockdown rules?
Social gatherings of more than six people will be banned in England.
This rule applies to private homes, indoors and outdoors, as well as public places such as bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés.
However, this rule does not apply to Covid-secure schools, workplaces, weddings, funerals and organised team sports.
No 10 said that groups of seven or more people of any age "risk being dispersed by police or fined for non-compliance".

We are still expected to continue washing hands, using face masks, keeping a social distance and getting tested if you have symptoms.
There are some exceptions to the new rules.
For example, households and support bubbles bigger than six people are unaffected.
A full list of exemptions is due to be published before the law changes.
Those who don’t comply with the rules face a £100 fine, which doubles on each offence up to a maximum of £3,200.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce the new law change in a press conference today, Wednesday, September 9.
He is expected to give more details regarding the rule change.
Meanwhile, local lockdown rules have changed for several places in the UK.
For example, pubs and restaurants in Bolton are limited to takeaways only.
