The life of an influencer is often seen as a desirable one but sadly in recent years, a variety of social media stars have had their lives cut short.
Just recently Arisara Karbdecho, the Thai social media influencer who was hospitalised in March after choking on a kebab, died.
The cosplayer had been on life support in hospital for two months. She reportedly drew her last breath at 12.50pm on June 6.

Sadly she isn’t the only influencer who has died at the hands of heartbreaking tragedies.

Haunting final Instagram 'premonition'
In July of last year, Brazilian beauty influencer Julia Hennessy Cayuela died at 22 after she shared a haunting final post.
Julia was on a motorbike road trip with her husband, Daniel Cayuela, when they were involved in a crash on July 15 in São José dos Pinhais outside Sao Paulo, Brazil.
But just a week before the crash, the social media star took to Instagram to share what would be her final message with her 333,000 followers.
She wrote: “Life is short, let’s be crazy – me, you, god and the road. Your dreams are mine.”
According to Brazilian outlet O Tempo, she was flown to a hospital in the nearby city of Parana in critical condition, but died shortly after from sudden cardiac arrest.
According to the Federal Highway Police of Parana and Ecovia, a truck was crossing the BR-277 road in So José dos Pinhais when the cycling couple T-boned it.
Julia was laid to rest on July 17 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
Flight attendant found dead in hotel bathtub
Flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera, 23, was found unconscious in a bathtub and rushed to hospital before being declared dead shortly after.
Police eventually charged 11 men with rape and murder after the influencer, who had hundreds of thousands of followers, was discovered in a hotel room in the Philippines.
Christine had been there with her friends celebrating New Year's Eve, with it being said that out of the 11 charged, only three of them were her friends.
Makati City Police chief Colonel Harold Depositar disclosed 11 men had been charged as they had been with Christine at the time of her death.
They had also been charged with rape as Christine's body was found with "lacerations and sperm in her genitalia" and she was also covered in bruises and scratches.
Her Instagram shows she last posted a week before her death. In the photo, she can be seen leaning on the doors of an aeroplane wearing PPE.
She captioned it: "Last flight for this one helluva year," for her 12,800 followers.
Horror fall off waterfall while taking selfie
Instagram star Sofia Cheung fell off the Tsing Dai waterfall in Ha Pak Lai nature park in Juli 2021 in front of her helpless friends.
It was said that the 32-year-old was trying to take a selfie to share with her 6,314 Instagram followers.
She had spent the day with three friends at Ha Pak Lai nature park before fell 16 feet to her death into the Tsing Dai stream near Yuen Long, Hong Kong.
Sofia, who had an interest in hiking and exploring, had climbed to the top of the waterfall later that day to take the photos when she lost her footing and fell into the water.
Her friends immediately called emergency services but she was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Hong Kong hospital.
Pregnant influencer and unborn baby die
Emily Mitchell, who ran The Hidden Way blog, became unresponsive just three days before Christmas 2020 while eating breakfast with her husband.
He quickly called emergency services, who later pronounced the 36-year-old dead.
The couple had five children together and shared their life online, with Emily’s fans left reeling over the news.
In a statement, the family said Emily’s official cause of death was a pulmonary embolism.
This is when there is a blockage in one of the pulmonary arteries in your lungs and is caused by blood clots that travel to the lungs from deep veins.
In an Instagram post before her death, Emily told followers on her blog she was expecting her fifth child in November.
The couple had expressed their excitement in welcoming their next child to the family, with Emily posting a picture with her husband and a photo of a sonogram.

Instagram model strangled to death
The case of Alexis Sharkey gripped the world after she vanished from her home in Houston, Texas.
The influencer was eventually found dead four miles away after being strangled to death.
A binman mistook her corpse for a mannequin and it wasn't until closer inspection that it was revealed to be a body.
Sharkey had last communicated with friends the day before she went missing, reportedly spending Thanksgiving with a friend.
The Instagram influencer, who had 71,000 followers, was discovered naked and with no "visible injuries."
Her husband, Tom Sharkey, was found dead with a gunshot wound to skull just hours after he discovered he was wanted for the murder of his wife.
