Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be enjoying a "scaled back" Christmas this year, according to reports.
The Sussexes will be hosting close friends David Foster and Katharine McPhee over to their plush pad on the big day.
Sources told People that the couple are "particularly excited" to decorate for their first Christmas outside the Royal brand.
Harry and Meghan lost their HRH titles when they dramatically stepped down as senior royals at the start of this year.
They relocated to California for more independence and to start their own Archewell foundation.
The Duke and Duchess will not be returning to the UK for the festivities due to the pandemic, according to reports.
Instead they will reportedly be hosting their close A-lister friends, with Katherine and Meghan going to school together and Grammy-winner David something of a reported father figure to Harry.
News of the Sussexes plans come after the Queen revealed that she and Prince Philip will be having a relatively modest Christmas themselves.
The usual lavish family get together is off the cards with current restrictions, so the couple are planning to spend it alone at Windsor, The Bristol Post reported.

The Queen, 94, and the Duke, 99, have been living at Windsor with a small group of household staff during the pandemic.
It is thought this year will be the first the couple have not spent Christmas at their Sandringham home since the mid 1980s.
"Like everyone they hope things will get back to normal in 2021," a palace spokesman said.
According to MarieClaire, the Sussexes are excited to decorate for Christmas, with a source told the publication: "Meghan very much wants to host the first Christmas at their new home with her mum.
"She's really excited and is planning on doing all the traditions she grew up with as a child, including the cooking.
"They've also invited David (Foster) and Katharine (McPhee) to spend it with them. David had mentioned Harry and Meghan going to theirs but Meghan wants it at home.”
