A man has left viewers stunned with his incredible "Spider-Man" skills when he scaled 12 storeys up to his apartment.
The resident, who is in his 50s, lives on the 14th floor of a residential complex in the city of Dongguan in southeast China.
He reportedly left his keys at home and only realised it when he was about to return home.
In the viral clip shared on Douyin, China's equivalent of TikTok, the man clings onto a drainage pipe outside the high-rise building and pulls himself up as he makes his way to the 14th floor.
He then throws himself to the balcony railings before getting back inside his flat.
The desperate resident was not seen using any equipment, neighbours from the adjacent building claimed.
One man told local media: "He started from the platform on the second floor, then climbed all the way up to the 14th floor.
"He was clinging onto the pipe the whole time."
Some viewers called the man "reckless" and putting other people's lives in danger.
One questioned: "How much does it cost to call a locksmith to open the door for you? I bet it's not hundreds of pounds."
A second wrote: "He risks his life to do something dumb, reckless."
