Man climbs onto wing of plane before falling as screaming passengers watch

Hair-raising footage shows a man climbing up the wing of an Alaska Airlines plane while shocked passengers watch the chaotic scene from inside the cabin.

In the clip, recorded by flier Brooke Knight on Saturday, December 12, the man is balancing on the wing of the plane and throws off his shoes and socks to try and get a better grip.

He then tries to wrap his legs around the winglets of the plane and shuffle up, only to plummet down onto the hard tarmac some 10ft below with a loud smack.

Passengers gasp in horror at the noise of the impact.

The man, who is not moving on the ground, is then checked by law enforcement officers.

Brooke, who witnessed the incident, said the man appeared to be alright and was "smiling and conscious" with a "bloody nose".

In a statement obtained by KTNV Alaska Airlines said flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland was preparing for take-off when the pilot "noticed an individual advancing towards the aircraft" at around 2pm.

The statement read: "The pilots notified the tower.

"Law enforcement was dispatched and able to apprehend the individual.

"Our guests and employees are safe and we are working with law enforcement.

"The plane has returned to the gate for a full inspection."

This comes after an angry woman claimed she was refused on a Southwest Airline flight because of her about her "obscene" boobs.

Kayla Eubanks filmed a video of a row with an ember of airline staff who asked if she could cover her low-cut top.

Writing on Twitter Kayla claimed: "Y'all I was kicked off my Southwest Airlines flight because my boobs are 'lewd, obscene and offensive'.

"I was told that passengers may look at me in my attire and be offended."
