Jane Park says ‘am I missing something’ and slams move to close pubs in Scotland

The UK’s youngest EuroMillions winner, Jane Park, has slammed Nicola Sturgeons’ move to close pubs and ban alcohol in Scotland just over two weeks.

Jane Park, 24, became the youngest EuroMillions winner in 2013, and has enjoyed a lavish busy life ever since.

She is very vocal on social media, sharing her life with her 232,000 Instagram followers, regularly updating them with snippets about her life.

In recent weeks, Jane has shared pictures with her 233,000 Instagram followers at various venues across the UK enjoying a few drinks with friends.

The star has now dipped her toes in politics, and shared her opinion of Sturgeon's 16-day 6pm curfew and alcohol ban.

Posting a picture of her living room, Jane, who lives in Edinburgh, said: "No alcohol in pubs or bars?

"6pm curfew, sorry what?

"Am I missing something."

Minutes later Jane posted a screenshot of an article explaining Sturgeon's decision to impose a 6pm curfew and ban alcohol in pubs, bars or restaurants.

Alongside the image, she simply put: "Cheers."

Jane's reaction comes as Nicola Sturgeon effectively banned alcohol in Scotland from Friday October 9.

Pubs, bars and restaurants will also be forced to close between the hours of 6pm and 6am as part of the country's emergency pandemic restrictions.

The strict ban will be enforced for 16 days, during which time the hospitality sector will receive financial support from the government.

The circuit-breaker will coincide with the school half-term, and is intended to "apply a brake to the virus for 16 days from Saturday 10 to Sunday 25 October across Scotland."
