Ex-WWE star Paige has opened up about her feelings on the horrific day when she realised her sex tape had been released online.
Now known as Saraya Bevis after leaving WWE in July, the two-time Divas champion was once one of wrestling’s biggest names and was even the subject of a box office movie, Fighting With My Family.
But, only a couple of years before the movie was released, Saraya was shocked to discover that her sex tape had been posted online.

Speaking about the incident in an episode of The Sessions podcast, the Brit remembered: “I was in San Antonio, and it was just the most awful moment of my life.
“The person I was with at the time showed me a picture on Twitter, and I was just like, ‘oh my God… Is that real?’ I couldn’t believe it was real at first because I was like 19.
“I was completely mortified and I ran out of the house, I just kept running, and [then] I was inside a f***ing bush.”
Despite her public profile, Saraya recalled that she had felt suddenly exposed, and feared that her parents would be upset about the news.
She continued: “I’ll always remember this, because I was sitting in this bush like, if people recognise me, they’re going to know, and I never wish that upon anyone because that’s the most vulnerable part of you and it’s just on the internet.
“I felt so stupid to have trusted this person, I’ve never done it since, that was a lesson I learnt, and I’ll never be caught dead doing it again.”
As well as feeling “embarrassed” about the incident, Paige described how battling with alcohol and drug addictions at the time had complicated the situation even further.
But, she stressed that her parents’ kind reaction to the news had helped her come to terms with her intimate moment being outed online.
“I was inside this bush and I remember being like, ‘okay, I’m going to try and call my dad right now’.
“I was just crying my eyes out and I was like, ‘I’m so sorry’, and my dad was like, ‘what are you sorry for?… That s**t made Kim Kardashian famous, who cares you had sex, everyone’s done it, unfortunately you were just in the public eye’.
“He instantly changed the way that I was feeling because I was very down, it was bad, I was ready to end it all.”
Paige is now completely sober having quit drugs and alcohol, but the wrestler revealed that despite it being five years since the leak, she continues to receive hate online over the incident.
“At this point I’m just like, ‘f***ing whatever’, but at that point it was not like that, I got bullied relentlessly it was just f***ing awful,” she added.
