Entire hidden street in UK on the market for same price as just one flat

An entire street in Wales complete with a swimming pool at one of the homes is going under the hammer for the price of a single flat in London.

The unique street is made up of just three terraced houses, each with four bedrooms, that are all due to be sold off together at auction.

Located in the Carhays area of Cardiff, Wales, Colum Terrace is a tiny hidden side street off the larger Colum Road where the three properties are selling with a guide price of £900,000, reports Wales Online.

It's in one of the main student areas of the city and the 'hidden street' is up for sale for the price of a single flat in certain parts of London.

The trio of bay fronted period properties that comprise the whole terrace on offer are numbers two, four and six Colum Terrace.

Each are four-bedroom properties with gardens to the rear – one of which has a swimming pool.

There are currently no internal photographs available but the auctioneer selling the row of homes states that numbers two and four are in need of full internal refurbishment and modernisation throughout.

The whole terrace is currently owned by the vendor who lives at number six, the only property of the three that has been well maintained and improved over the years.

The auctioneer did however add that it would now benefit from some improvement and modernisation throughout.

Huw Edwards, head of property auctions and auctioneer at Seel & Co, which is selling the terrace, said: "This is a very unique property auction lot indeed, offering three homes within walking distance to the city centre and the university as well as Bute Park.

"The sale also offers the chance to pursue a number of options for the future of the terrace including renovating and updating all three or developing the trio to provide more homes.

"The current owners have registered a planning application for the extension and conversion of the houses and garages into 14 units."
