Drunk German tourists are now a bigger problem than drunk British tourists according to a pretty seaside Majorcan town.
Locals have said the village of Arenal, opposite the Bay of Palama, has become a hotbed of young German hooligans.
The disruption has reportedly become so bad that German police officers are being brought in to assist the National Police to calm the violence.
According to reports, young Germans are taking advantage of low-cost flights to take intensive 24 or 48-hour breaks dedicated to taking drugs and getting drunk, MailOnline reports.
The change comes after a period in which English holidaymakers were considered the predominant troublemakers in the region, especially in the town of Magaluf.

Around 12 German police officers drafted to help the National Police are expected to patrol the streets of Palma over the next couple of months during the peak summer season.
Speaking to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, Alain Carbonell said some of the tourists don’t even bother to book hotel accommodation.
He added: “They are all young, 18 to 20 years old, and they just come to get drunk.”
Owner of the Deutsches Eck restaurant in Palma, Michael Bormann, said the “party spirit” in the town would be “very extreme” due to German excess.
Fellow restaurant owner Beatrice Ciccardini, who runs the Zur Krone restaurant, was shocked at the deterioration in the behaviour.
She said: “It’s never been as bad as this year. There is no end to the drinking; some are still drunk on the streets at nine in the morning.”
Locals commented on how the party season appeared to have been extended, saying it was now like a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week party which lasts from March to September.
One local, who wished to remain anonymous, said they were shocked at how early some tourists were starting to drink and the disgusting behaviour they were exhibiting.

They said: “They walk up and down the promenade in their football shirts with cans and bottles of beer and are playing drinking games at all hours of the day and night.
“I’ve also seen some of the men harassing young girls.”
Another local, and member of the Arenal residents association, Miguel Pascual said drunk foreigners often use his garden as a shortcut.
He said told the Majorca Daily Bulletin about a recent incident with a wayward tourist, he said: “I yelled at him to get out of the garden and when he turned around, I saw his pants were full of faeces.”
It later transpired that the loud group had been seen rambling through the resort in football shirts whilst others had t-shirts with leud and comedic graphics to depict their fellow travellers.
In response to a subsequent boom in tourism from Germany, doner kebab stalls and tattoo parlours have been popping up, enticing short-term travellers to immortalise their holiday.
