Denver weather: Cloudy and wet Tuesday, warmer days coming

Usually clear and dry, Denver remains cloudy and wet Tuesday. But there’s a break back to the typical weather associated with the Mile High City coming soon.

Denver will be a cool 62 degrees with a 40% chance of rain Tuesday. Isolated showers across the plains have a slight chance to become severe or turn into a thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Fog will remain a possibility at times during the day. Denver will chill to 47 degrees Tuesday night, with a chance of precipitation until just after dinner.

Wednesday will start a slight change in the weather pattern, but first, there is a 40% chance of thunderstorms with 15 mph winds until 7 p.m. The high will be 72 degrees and the low 50 degrees.

Thursday will be a gem, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 83 degrees. Winds could pick up around 20 mph and the low will be around 55 degrees.

This weekend should hang around the high 70s to low 80s with chances for afternoon thunderstorms.
