A skip hire company has thrown the ultimate Ibiza pool party in one of the coolest destinations – one of its very own skips on an industrial estate.
The Greater Manchester business, based in Bury, transformed its industrial estate for the summer by turning an enormous waste skip into a gigantic pool for revellers to enjoy – complete with music, disco lights and pool floats.
Fed up with the unpredictable British weather and determined to inject some fun into the summer, the company held the event last weekend, reports the Manchester Evening News.

M60 Skip Hire owner Allan Tyson, the visionary behind the grand pool plan, said: "Who said skips are only for rubbish? We've taken recycling to a whole new level!"
He said it was all about "having fun, being innovative, and making the most of what you have".
Not only did attendees enjoy a splash about in the pool filled with floats, they were also treated to a DJ, speakers, disco lights and a live drummer for the ultimate summer party.
One guest, called Amy, added: "It's been such a gloomy summer, and then M60 Skip Hire just turned it around with this amazing idea. I've never seen a skip put to such fantastic use!"
With the company enjoying their summer pool party, it doesn't look like much sun will be heading our way soon. The country has experienced a particularly disappointing summer this year, with plenty rain and cool temperatures throughout July and August.
The Met Office has now given its verdict on whether or not Brits are in for a baking hot Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Although temperatures are set to pick up this week, an August Bank Holiday heatwave is looking probably unlikely."
However, the weather forecaster noted that currently it is "extremely difficult" to predict how the last weekend in August will actually fare but at the moment there is a low probability of settled and hot conditions towards the end of the month.
