James Unger wants potential homebuyers to consider Green Valley Ranch seriously.

Conveniently located near Denver International Airport, Green Valley Ranch also offers easy highway access so residents can take a 20 to 30-minute drive downtown.
The neighborhood’s suburbia-lite vibes, safe streets, and 21 schools make it attractive to young families.
And homes in Green Valley Ranch are some of the most affordable in Denver, averaging below $475,000, Unger says.
Green Valley Ranch provides easy access to plenty of green space, including a public golf course, skate park, and Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.
The neighborhood developed shortly after Denver International Airport opened in 1995. As a result, most homes are 20 years old or less.
This master-planned community offers a mix of single-family homes, condos, and townhomes to appeal to a wide range of people, from empty nesters to first-time homebuyers.
“You can get a 3,000-square-foot luxury home that backs to a golf course for the low $600s,” Unger says. “It’s rare to get that kind of square footage at that price point.”
Buyers can purchase a new home from the low $400,000s to a luxury golf-course adjacent house in the $700,000s. Oakwood Homes just launched On2, its new line of stand-alone starter homes in the low $300,000s, in Green Valley Ranch.
Available homes still sell quickly, with most sold within a week of listing.
Unger says that Green Valley Ranch attracts younger buyers, primarily first-time buyers, and young families.
Unger says Green Valley Ranch is more of a golf community than many home buyers might suspect.
In addition to the award-winning Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, the community also is home to First Tee. This program integrates playing golf with a life skill curriculum to help kids build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience.
The neighborhood’s also a nature lover’s paradise. It’s located near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge and protected wetlands. With 10 miles of trails that connect to the Highline Canal Trail, the neighborhood also offers opportunities to bike, jog, or walk without worrying about traffic.

The planned Flyway, a 32-acre retail space with a Costco and other retail and restaurants, is set to open this fall.
