Some local entrepreneurs started home bakeries during the pandemic, while others turned to grilling burgers or selling buckets of fried chicken.
For Tiffany Brown and her adopted German Shepherd, there seemed to be another niche in the Denver food market that needed filling. With peanut butter, that is.
In January, Brown started booking appearances around metro Denver for her new “food truck,” Bon Apétreat. From inside the roving turquoise Sprinter van, she sells natural, human-grade cookies with birthday messages, seasonal designs and more playful shapes like the “Pawno Noir” wine bottle.

She also sells Colorado-made chews and stuffed bones (see peanut butter and pumpkin) and offers complimentary whipped cream pup cups for furry customers.
Brown comes from a career in marketing and hospitality. But during the pandemic, she and so many others took to the streets and sidewalks and parks with their quarantine companions.
“While working from home during COVID-19, I thought it would be a great idea to start a food truck that not only caters to dogs with treats and toys but also provides people with a much-needed break during their day with a walk,” Brown said.

Now Brown can be found parked in Cherry Creek, Littleton, Highlands Ranch and more neighborhoods weekly. She’s also planning to attend events this spring, starting with the Cherry Creek farmers market.
Residents can reach out, too, for specific neighborhood stops. And if the customer needs water, toys or poop bags, Bon Apétreat’s also got those covered.
